Refund Policy
Last updated August 15, 2026
The short version
- Every plan is paid from day one — we do not currently offer a free trial. The price is shown before you confirm.
- Cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Web subscriptions cancel in the app; App Store subscriptions cancel in your Apple Account settings.
- We do not refund partial periods or unused time — cancelling is how you stop paying. If Apple billed you, refunds are Apple’s to give: ask them, not us.
- We do refund duplicate charges, billing errors, and our own failures. Email us and we will sort it out.
This summary is for convenience only — the full text below is what governs.
1. What this policy covers
This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for NavFi subscriptions sold by NavFi Inc through our app and website. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Please read it before you subscribe.
2. Free trials
We do not currently offer a free trial on any plan. Every NavFi subscription is a paid subscription from the day you start it, and the price is shown to you before you confirm.
If we introduce a trial in future, its length and the price that follows it will be shown at checkout, and if you do not cancel before the trial ends it will convert automatically to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged. Any trial would be limited to one per person.
3. How billing works
There are two ways to subscribe, and they are billed by different companies. A web subscription is processed by Stripe and billed by NavFi Inc. An App Store subscription, bought inside our iOS app, is billed by Apple to your Apple Account — see § 7, which governs those purchases wherever this policy and Apple’s differ. Either way you choose a monthly or annual billing period before you confirm.
- Monthly plans are charged on the same day each month and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Annual plans are charged as a single up-front payment covering the year ahead, at a discount to twelve months of monthly billing, and renew automatically until cancelled.
Prices are shown before you confirm, exclude any applicable taxes, and are charged in US dollars. The App Store price for a plan may differ from the price for the same plan on the web. If we change the price of a plan you already hold, we will email you before it takes effect and it will apply only from your next billing period; Apple notifies you directly about price changes on an App Store subscription.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term. Where you cancel depends on who bills you:
- Web subscriptions — cancel from the subscription settings in the app, or by emailing support@navfi.money from the address on your account.
- App Store subscriptions — cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. That is the only place an App Store subscription can be cancelled. The app links you straight there, but it cannot cancel for you, and neither can we by email.
What happens when you cancel. Your subscription stops renewing, and you keep full access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that the subscription ends and you are not charged again.
Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account or your data. If you also want your account removed, delete it in the app or ask us — but cancel first, because deleting an account does not cancel billing.
5. Refunds
This section applies to web subscriptions — the ones we bill. For App Store subscriptions, skip to § 7: those refunds are Apple’s to give, not ours.
Subscription payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or periods during which you did not use the Services. Instead of a partial refund, cancelling leaves your access running to the end of the period you already paid for.
We think that is fair because the price and the terms are shown before you confirm, you can cancel at any time without penalty, and § 6 sets out the cases where we will refund anyway. It is also why we show this policy before checkout rather than after.
6. When we will refund
Section 5 is our general rule, not an attempt to keep money we should not have. We will issue a refund in these cases:
- Duplicate or incorrect charges. If you were billed twice, billed after cancelling, or charged the wrong amount, we refund the difference in full.
- A failure on our side. If a fault in the Services prevented you from using a paid feature for a meaningful part of a billing period and we could not fix it, tell us and we will make it right with a refund or credit.
- We terminate without cause. If we end your subscription for a reason other than your breach of the Terms, we refund the unused portion of what you prepaid.
- Where the law requires it. Some jurisdictions give consumers a statutory right to cancel or to a refund. Nothing in this policy limits those rights, and where they apply they override the general rule above.
We may also grant a refund at our discretion in circumstances not listed here. Doing so once does not oblige us to do it again.
How to ask. Email support@navfi.money from the address on your account with the charge date and amount. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically take five to ten business days to appear, depending on your bank. This section covers charges we made — for a charge Apple made, see § 7.
7. Purchases made through the Apple App Store
NavFi subscriptions bought inside our iOS app are sold through the Apple App Store. Apple bills you, Apple holds your payment details, and refunds for those purchases are governed by Apple’s policies and must be requested from Apple, not from us. Sections 5 and 6 of this policy do not apply to them, and nothing in this policy limits any right you have under Apple’s terms or under law.
To request a refund from Apple, use reportaproblem.apple.com or the “Report a Problem” link on the receipt Apple emailed you. To cancel, use your Apple Account subscription settings — see § 4. If you are not sure which kind of subscription you have, open Settings → Subscription in the app: it names who bills you.
Subscriptions bought on our website are billed by NavFi Inc through Stripe and are covered by the rest of this policy. NavFi is not currently sold through Google Play; if that changes, that store’s policy will govern its purchases in the same way.
8. Disputed charges
If a charge looks wrong, please contact us at support@navfi.money before disputing it with your bank or card issuer — we can usually resolve a billing error faster than a chargeback can, and a chargeback may suspend your account while the dispute is open. If you do file one, we may provide your billing records to the card network to respond to it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be notified in the app or by email before they take effect. The version in force when you were charged is the one that applies to that charge.
